| - First time I came here was little than a week ago. I came here with 2 friends and my girlfriend and we're very excited off of the reviews, let alone the sound of this place. To start, the first time was amazing, great service and great food. Our waiter was attentive and the hostess made sure things went well. HOWEVER the reason of my review is because of our second trip which was tonight.
My girlfriend and I went because the first time was amazing. However, it was one of the most irritating times I ever had at a restaurant and usually I'm very easy to please. The hostess was PERFECT as always but the server wasn't. I don't know if it was his first time or not but I see it how if you mess up once, fix it. First we ordered the beef combo and got a lamb and beef and after I tried politely to tell him it was the wrong order, he told me I was the one who ordered it and it wasn't his mistake. I didn't order it and what I originally ordered was more expensive so why would I lie about that in the first place when I'm about to pay for the more expensive one that I ordered?? Second, through our meal it seemed as if we offended him with getting what we originally ordered that he stopped attending to us. Our drinks were empty for almost the entire meal til we had to stop someone and ask for a refill. Next our server attended to the people to the right of us, skipped over to the left of us and finally I was frustrated and made eye contact til he finally came over to us and checked on us. After that the group to the right of us interrupted us while I was asking for something and he walked away to attend them! He also interrupted us in the middle of our meal to ask if we're done, keep in mind we started way after the people around us, felt as if we were being pushed out.
Got to the end of our meal and my girlfriend and I wanted to take our food home because we were full. We had A LOT leftover and the server came to us and only brought 1 container and said they don't have anymore. I was upset because not only did they not have anymore containers for myself to take home the extra amount of food I'm paying for and had leftover, he said to us "You guys should try and finish it." ARE YOU SERIOUS? How are you going to tell a customer to finish their food because YOU'RE out of containers? Let alone he told us multiple times to try and finish it?! The nice hostess again stepped in, ran to another restaurant and helped me. After all this, one of the chefs in the kitchen they have opened to the customers eye's to see, I saw him staring at us like we were ridiculous and laughed. He was the white chef with glasses. I also heard him clearly joking around with his coworkers about how we made them run around to get us stuff for our leftover food. SMFH. I was highly pissed off at this point.
I feel horrible ever writing a post like this and I barely ever do but my girlfriend and I were highly disrespected here. I worked and managed restaurants and kitchens as well as have my own business. I know what customer service should be.
