I ordered 5 dozen oysters tonight. Yup. They had the big ones from Louisiana and 2 of the small varieties from Canada, the Pacific Northwest basically. The smaller one were sweet and had a little firmer texture. But the medium size one was my favorite. The big fat ones were juicy but there's a small bitter after taste I think (maybe that's the BP Gold that's still giving after all these years from those waters). All were fresh. I am afraid if they were any fresher, they'd be squirting water at me.
Excellent service. We went at about 6:30pm so had to wait 15 minutes but it went by fast. I didn't bother to get the clam chowder today. But if you are in the mood it's $6 for a bowl.
The rolls were tasty. Two types. One had oats and some other thing in it and the other was more of a dinner roll but they both tasted like they were recently baked.
