  • This place is RIDICULOUSLY cool. So cool it made me feel even cooler when I went in there. The Old Sugar Distillery has fantastic cocktails -- my favorite was the Honey-Cap (Similar to a Caipirinha, but different enough to be even MORE cool). I wouldn't have known this place was here if a friend hadn't suggested we go... even when she first suggested I was thoroughly confused. It even looks like it's in an abandoned warehouse. The hours are a little funky, but the atmosphere is awesome and that more than makes up for it. As I said before... toooo cooool! A little pricey, but for a night where you forget you're in Madison and think you're in some swanky old town hideaway it's well worth it!
