  • Lets review what's important in a coffeebar. I like to use the acronym CAFE: Coffee, Atmosphere, Food and Energy. Coffee: The coffee at Hob Nobs is pretty good. Atmosphere: Hob Nobs is a chill and comfortable hangout that kind of has that Central Perk feel. Food: Hob Nobs has a good variety of items on their menu. I went for lunch and enjoyed the chicken salad while my date said her turkey sandwich was delicious. The deserts looked great, but we split a cookie so I'll have to go back to try other things and let you know. Energy: Hob Nobs has a good vibe and super friendly staff. I will be back, especially since Hob Nobs is light rail convenient. Not a bad walk from the McDowell station. Head west on McDowell, Hob Nobs is about a quarter mile on the south side of the street.
