| - This place is well-hidden near St. Clair West. Honestly, if you passed by it going south on Yonge just before hitting St. Clair, you would think it wasn't even there.
It looks like a big, fat, Italian deli, but their prices are anything but cheap. They're in the Whole Foods category here.
Fancy food (although they didn't even have Creme de Marrons or Chestnut Spread), and expensive. They have more natural types of products and make their own sauces in house as well as having a decent selection of meats... but I think the only people who shop here are the ones who hate shopping at Loblaws, getting subpar ingredients.
Honestly, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it, but I did find some expensive jams and spreads I couldn't find ever since my place on Danforth went out of business.
I guess you come here if you don't want to take the car, shop at Loblaws across the street or go anywhere else like Whole Foods. It's not bad.. it's just.. not amazing.
(Their signage is also awful. They need to market themselves better.)
They could probably make much more money if they went more natural in their food and their items, more Whole Food-y, and changed the marketing.
