The doctors and office are great for kids, the problems come in with the front office. To start we had been taking the kids there for around 2 years, and had two types of insurance. They decided not to tell me that they were out of network when we checked in and verified that we now only had one insurance. They had another opportunity when the saleslady who was pushing something came around. I asked if it was covered and again, they failed to tell me. Then we head to check out and are told insurance only covers half and we owe more than $100 for two cleanings. Then they tell me its my job to know what my insurance coverage is. I honestly had no idea they were out of network and that the 2nd insurance had been picking up the slack. And of course they could not be bothered to tell me when they had the opportunities. And the one insurance still active was a with a very large casino company so not some small type plan. I have no issue paying what is owed, but I feel like they set me up to pay. I called them and explained all this to the billing department and got the same "its your job" explanation. Too bad because their deceptive ways reflect poorly on the nice doctors and assistants in the back. The front office is where the problem is.
