You can get a piercing a lot of places these days, and over the years i've put more than a few holes in my head.... I've also learnt a thing or two about how big a difference quality jewelry makes in healing and how much it sucks when your new awesome labret is off centre and not pierced straight, but I digress...
I've been into all 3 Human Kanvas shops between yyc and airdrie. I've found them all friendly and willing to chat and explain things. Rachel the apprentice in airdrie pierced my tragus under supervision while everything was explained to me. I know apprentices are learning, but she was more knowledgable, calm, and competent than a lot of "professionals" i've seen at other shops...
The piercing is great! They use better quality metal (not all "surgical steel" is the same, the cheaper stuff itches like crazy but this new one feels great)
I know sometimes you have to make appointments ahead of time because they are booked up for the day, but hey, they are booked up because they are good! Don't go somewhere else and be sad and then have come here to fix it later... Just come here first!
