  • We've stayed at the Flamingo before and had a bad experience, but we made late reservations and this was the best price for a descent room we could get...we should have spent a little more! The room was nice. Nicely appointed and tastefully remodeled. However there were some switches that didn't do anything...the large HD TV had horrible reception and they added a nice audio system that didn't work. The bathroom had a tv in the mirror which would have been great except it got the same horrible reception as the main tv. There were mood lights in the bathroom that wouldn't turn on. It wasn't all bad though, the blackout drapes were on a remote switch next to the very comfortable bed...and the room was a pretty good size. About the hotel, while the rooms have been remodeled the corridors have not. They are very plain. The lobby is the same as it has always been...small compared to a lot of other hotels. The casino was about the same as I remember. But the absolute worst part was the parking garage. 1/3 is reserved for valet, 1/3 for Hilton Grand members, and 1/3 for the 1000+ hotel rooms. We ended up having to valet which was also a pain.
