I have been twice to have a massage by Mark. The first time was a gift from my BFF and I was such a relaxing and beneficial session as soon as I got home and checked my calendar I booked my next one. I have my third session scheduled now. He reviewed over all my health history (migraines), what kind of work I do (sitting at a computer ball day) and any concerns I had to ensure he was able to address them.
His space was cozy, clean and extremely relaxing. The table was heated and the sheets and cover was very soft. He worked in my shoulders, back, arms, head and even my face.
The essentials oils and lotion he uses are very pleasing to the nose and not overpowering smells. They did not leave me feeling like I was coated in oil. The last time I had a massage at Massage Envy (years ago) I didn't want to put my clothes back in because I was covered in oil and sticky. I went right home and got into the shower to get it off, which was one of the reasons I waited so long to get another massage. It just was not the same experience with Mark Beam.
The second time I went to get a massage with Mark Beam I was much more relaxed and actually was able to get almost into hypnotic meditative state which is rare for me because I don't meditate. I either fall asleep while trying to meditate or I can not shut my mind off at all.
