rev:text	Wow, Yama sushi certainly has changed since I was last here. A couple years ago I used to go to Yama Sushi at least once a week, but since moving away from Vegas I have only been able to make it here about once a year or so. The other night I saw a side of Yama I had never seen before. After reading recent reviews on Yelp I realized that Yama is fairly popular and busy now so we opted to go early about 4pm. Even at 4pm (on a Friday night) it was packed and only got more and more crowded as the night went on. For as crowded as they were I have to say that the service was fairly decent. It took 10-15 minutes for someone to get to us to take our initial order, but after that it was pretty smooth. If you sit at the sushi bar you can give your order directly to the sushi chef, but if you sit at a table, like we did, the server will come around and ask what you want. You can order as many round as you like if you are ordering AYCE, which it seemed most people were. Things came out one-at-a-time which I liked as opposed to all arriving at once and they didnt take long at all, especially for how busy they were. As I said before I am still amazed at the quality of the sushi here for AYCE. Again we ordered the seafood salad which is such a crazy deal to be included in AYCE. Basically it is a plate of sashimi chunks (ours was salmon, tuna and albacore) mixed with some hot sauce (you can choose none or mild as well) and placed on a bed of daikon. Thats it. Awesome. Overall the sushi was of very good quality and the service was fine. Personally I dont care to eat in a VERY crowded environment with lots of loud people around, so Yama has been slightly tarnished in my book, but otherwise it is a great deal.
