  • So, we stayed at the hotel and called to place a phone order and was told that we could not place a phone order for pick up and that they do not have room service. I clarified with the lady that all we wanted to do was place the order over the phone and then head down stairs to pick it up. Apparently, we couldn't do that and she really didn't have an answer for me. So, we went down stairs, hung the hell over with our pj's on and totally out of it, LOL! to place our order. We ordered a pastrami sandwich, matzo ball soup and a regular hamburger, medium cooked and bacon. Well, we get back up to the room, which felt like a million years later and find out the hamburger was cooked to a crisp and no bacon. We even paid for the extra bacon. We were already burnt out and didn't go downstairs to correct it either. Kind of disappointed too since I had high hopes since we always stay at the El Cortez, you win some, you lose some, right?
