I have been bringing our cars for service and tires here for awhile and was happy with the service. A month after having the rear brakes done , there was a strong burning smell coming from the rear tire. I drove right to Goodyear and left the car for them to look into. They were unable to locate the problem. The burning smell returned and the shop was closed so I called my son in law who was a mechanic before becoming a police officer. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a bad caliper. He was able to repair the car, but he said the brake pads were far more worn because of the burning. He gave me the pads to show Goodyear and said any reputable shop would reimburse the cost of the pads. I brought them up and could hear the manager or owner complaining before he even got to the counter. He said there was nothing wrong with the pads but he would ask the manufacturer. I gave them 2 weeks, they never got back to me. I called the manager and my call was never returned. I am so disappointed because it was a convenient place to take our car.
