The food here is mediocre at best. We went for brunch, and the eggs are spongy and horrible. They taste like they were cracked a week ago. I'm not sure why older establishments cannot keep up with the times. The manager should go to Matt's Big Breakfast to see what fresh food tastes like. The service was just as bad as the food. A few people had requests, I.e medium cooked poached eggs, etc. None of it was honored; it seemed like the waitress didn't even bother to write anything down. I ordered an omelette and specified gluten free (the menu says to specify). It showed up with an English muffin right on top. But I don't think that was the only gluten because fast forward an hour and I'm sick. Perhaps the potatoes or the pork filling in the omelette. Perhaps if the manager reads this, he will get a clue. The two stars is only for the beautiful patio and decent coffee.
