This used to be one of my favorite buffets in Vegas. Sadly, I think that this last trip here will be my last.
First they have decreased the size on the far left side to accommodate other restaurant expansions meaning your selection has suffered.
In the last 2 months I have been here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast buffets in Las Vegas are one of my favorite things. There are so many great foods you can do on the cheap and in a variety of ways. The options were extremely limited. They didn't even have basic French toast or waffles.
I did not notice a significant difference in the food choices between lunch and dinner. In the past one my favorite dishes to get here was the coq au vin. They seem to have removed this from the menu. Rest of the choices are uninspiring with the only exception being the seafood bouillabaisse.
The biggest travesty when it comes to lack of selection is no longer offering the cookie butter fluffernutter crepe. Anytime I was in Vegas I would make a special trip here just for that one item. It appears to be gone from the menu.
The biggest problem I've noticed recently is the poor service from the wait staff. Sometimes it's due to having too large of an area to cover. Other times the problem stems from poor communication between the hostess and the wait staff. Ultimately though I believe the wait staff is just slow. They really don't do much other than bringing you drinks. This problem could be reduced if they had self service beverage stations like Spice Market at Planet Hollywood.
I'm sad to see what was once a must visit buffet now be cut my list of "to-do's" in Vegas.
