This place is jaw dropping. I've been twice this week and am headed back for third time tonight. FCB must look like that place in heaven reserved for cigar smoking, whiskey/scotch drinking gentlemen fortunate enough to gain entrance. Luckily for us lovers of puros and spirits, there's no qualification for entrance save for a simple desire to enjoy the good things in life.
I came here because of other reviews here on Yelp and I am pleased to announce that each one was spot on. For starters the people who work here don't act like they work there. Rather they treat customers like personal guests and are there to help everyone from novices to experts. They know their cigars and their spirits so feel free to ask for a recommendation for either or both. I did and I've been smoking fine cigars and drinking premium whiskey for a while.
The decor is warm and inviting with lots of dark woods, leather and a gorgeous granite bar. Speaking of the bar, this establishment must have one of THE best stocked ones I've seen West of NYC. It's quite simply astonishing and highly inviting. The air filtration system is very efficient because it is difficult to tell cigar smoking is even under way.
If you're not sold by my perception, please read the other descriptive reviews for more details and enticement. Ladies, please note this is not a men only hangout. My wife accompanied me on our first visit and enjoyed a flavored cigarillo with me and the Nat Sherman that was suggested by the personable young fellow tending their cavernous glass walled humidor. We sat out on the patio and almost immediately befriended a couple of others who we invited to join us in conversation, cigars and drinks.
