  • Came in here for a beer and the Bears game. Now, keep in mind I'm 21 and haven't yet gotten the horizontal driver's license, yet. Not ONE other store in "Champaign County" has refused to serve me because my ID is vertical. They tried saying it must be horizontal. When trying to tell the waitress that I was not trying to be rude or fight, she became hostile. The managers finally gave me my drink because my FOID card is horizontal. Funny thing is, I was sitting right next to the sign that said they need VALID ID....if I'm 21 and the ID isn't expired, it's valid. No if's and's, or but's. Guess this won't be my hangout spot.
