  • If you dig Gryfe's Bagels (http://www.yelp.ca/biz/gryfes-bagel-bakery-toronto), then you should check out Haymishe. Not nearly as well known as Gryfe's, but the bagels are just as good and have a similar style. That style is crusty outside, fluffy inside, and with amazing flavour. Totally different then your typical Montreal-style bagels, but so much better to my taste. Grab some of the delicious cream cheese that Haymishe's Bagels sells and you're good to go. These bagels are best eaten as soon as possible. As Jimi S noted, the women that work behind the counter are so friendly and awesome; it'll make your day. Be warned that prices are a little high considering how small the bagels are.
