  • Disappointment after disappointment. 18 months in and I'm still having problems. I spent over $50k on a pool/spa with waterfall and fire pit. Too many electrical problems to get into but it resulted in having to eventually replace the whole control panel because they got tired of coming out to fix wiring issues. Forgotten parts, lies and laziness from the person they send out to check on what the issues are. After coating the top of the fire pit with the same decking they used for the surface around the pool, they were surprised to learn that it burned and cracked. After several attempts to get them to fix it, almost a year if I recall, they came out to put flagstone down instead of the decking. When they did come out to fix it they discovered the pvc for the waterfall was too close to the flame so they had to raise the pit to get the flame away from the pvc. Now, the "fire retardant" grout they used to secure the flagstone is cracking and the flagstone is scorching. This whole time I have been asking to get a fire glass border to deflect the heat away from the flagstone/grout and the decking before. They had no idea what I was talking about so I had to send them a picture. Then they said they would do 2" (clearly would not fix the problem) and I would have to pay for it. Before they wouldn't do it because "their insurance wouldn't let them". All of this after several calls to the owner of this location. Do not use this company if you want things done right the first time. Anyone thinking about using this company, I kept every email and text message and you can see for yourself. I think the only person who actually does their job right over there is Shellie. She responds to my concerns usually pretty quickly but all she can do is forward my complaint to someone so there is only so much she can do. As for the rest of blue haven... Oh, and they missed every deadline they set.
