  • I'm sold!! I'd first like to thank Nikki & Hilary for the amazing job they did putting this event together. The PDQ staff were also amazing. This event was very laid back and it was really nice to meet and talk with Yelpers i'd seen around Yelp. And VERY nice to have Nikki almost to myself!! lol! I was happy to finally be able to sit down and have a relaxed conversation with her. Sometimes even I am guilty of forgetting that she is human lol. This helped me be able to appreciate her a lot more. She didn't do anything special for me, but just getting to know the person behind all of this was nice. And I meant what I said Nikki, i'm here to help as well! Many thanks to Christi for helping Nikki with this one. You did a great job as well! When Nikki says come SUPER hungry, I know this will not be our typical sampling event where you may still leave hungry, it was clear that this event was different and it did not disappoint. Fries, 11 sauces, Chicken Tenders, Chicken Nuggets, a Chicken Sandwich, a Turkey sandwich that tasted like Thanksgiving, a fried Turkey Sandwich (Where they do that at?! This was my FAV), Zucchini Fries, Salad, Slaw, Apples soaked in pineapple juice (Now I will be doing this at home to not only add flavor but keep my apples fresher longer), Toffee Dip, cookies, Milk shakes and the best fountain drink machine ever... and Hilary explaining everything that came out and letting us know just what PDQ is all about!!! I don't think this event had a chance to go wrong. I pinpointed my favorite sauce, though all of them were delicious. I don't remember the name but I know how it looks and I will find it with every Tenders/PDQ I go to!! How many basic chicken fast food restaurants have you been to that seasons their food as well as PDQ?? I know for me that count is at zero! And though I've always thought chick-fil-a was overrated, PDQ just pushed them even further to the back of my mind.
