| - I certainly used to frequent this casino years ago for the Irish pub. I live pretty close but over the years have gravitated to Red Rock. Oh my... I visited Rampart multiple times over the past 10 days as my family came to town and decided to stay there due to a pleasant experience at a Marriott in Florida. They stayed 12 nights, in a suite... It was bad. Just real quick it was old (one of those Vegas places that decide to put no money back into hotel!), bugs crawling around, hot water in shower didn't work, housekeeping would never empty trash. As most other reviews note, full of mainly older clientele, however, registration in a different tower than their suite and no one to assist with getting them or their bags to their room. Only positive for hotel is the pool. Pool is very nice. Now for the casino... 1. Irish pub for dinner: it was awful, get this even their waitress agreed with us that their food was awful! 2. Round bar, it was average, couldn't make a good martini but ok to hang for a minute. ( and people watch a lot of older people gamble and dance) 3. Caramel Room, awful! Out of items on menu, food average to bad, service we're aging waiters who stopped caring about customer service many years ago! 4. Addison's Lounge, awful! Service was ridiculous! A band came on at 7:30 thought it might be a bright spot...too bad for us it wasn't' they played 4 songs and took about an hour break....actually all just hanging at the bar having a nice time for themselves! Been to a lot a places in Vegas, seen a lot, needless to say I won't be seeing this place again!
