The rafting and guiding was very enjoyable. I would recommend this trip to anyone interested in a first time trip. I would not however recommend eating their fajita lunch. The problem is flies. The outhouse is about 100 feet from the open air kitchen. The outhouse was swarming with large black flies. I did not see any active fly controls and would strongly suggest it. I did not see a screen door being used in the entry to the food prep area. I would suggest doing that as well. The food was being prepped bare handed. I would suggest some food handlers gloves. Long story short my wife and I got really sick last night. My daughter did not eat much more than a tortilla and she is fine. Just some basic food handling and fly control would be in order. PS I'm a veterinarian with public health training and would be happy to direct management to some food and pest guidelines.
