  • I have been going to Makino for the past 12 years, and every time I go back I remember why I never got tired of this place. I'm greeted like family, the staff is friendly, and the food is great. Their sushi might not be prepared with the most expensive fish cuts (but so is the check), but they offer a good variety of rolls, and it all tastes great. The salads section of the buffet is equally rich and fresh. On top of sushi, they offer many other Sea Food and Asian cuisine dishes, a variety of soups, and a nice selection of mini desserts, complimented by a chocolate fountain and exotic flavored ice cream (green tea, red beans flavor and others). The best local sushi buffet.
