  • WOW. Maybe this is the Michigander country bumpkin in me speaking, but I have never been to a theatre this luxurious before! All of the seats are recliner, and I think the ones we unintentionally booked were one of three rows in the back of the theatre which had "extra recline" features - I was basically laying in a bed more comfortable than mine while watching Age of Ultron. The luxury of the experience first started with probably my favorite feature- that you can order your tickets there from a touch screen apparatus, rather than a high school employee (no offense intended to the inherent awfulness of flawed, young humans, of course). My only qualm is that I wish the program would have told me any price differences in seats that you can select from, because I expect my "extra incline" seats (which came out to $13.75/ticket) were probably a dollar or two more expensive than the "normal incline" seats. No matter - totally worth it, anyways. I can't speak to the prices of food because I didn't order, but I'm sure it's hella expensive. From the movie previews, apparently it's actual food - like full fledge dinner food. You can also order cocktails "before, during, and after the movie," and bring them into the theatre with you...probably the coolest way to get drunk on a Friday night, I suppose. I hear the theatre has been packed with people since its opening, but this wasn't my experience. I went to a 9:30 3D showing of Age of Ultron about a week after opening, and there were less than 20 people in the theatre. We had our tickets from the super cool touch screen in a matter of minutes, because there was no line in the main lobby. Pretty expensive theatre all around, but if you're a suburban looking to splurge, it's worth it every once in a while!
