| - This is my second time getting a vehicle from this dealership. I chose this location because it's close and convenience. Both times, Paul R. helped me out. The first time, was my first time ever getting a car. I chose to lease a 16 CR-V for my family. Paul knew I was new to this and was nice, I didn't know any better to negotiate price. Nevertheless, he was nice and walked me through everything. A couple months down the road, this wasn't an option anymore because I got a new job that required putting many miles on the car.
I traded in my lease with an intent to buy a 17 Civic this time. I came back to this dealership because I like what they had to offer the first time. Todd/Adrian reached out to me through internet sales because I wanted to trade my lease in. They were able to give me an above average appraisal, which is what I was expecting with my CR-V still being new. They helped me until it was time for them and I to go home. I came back the same night and looked for Paul, who helped me the first time. I told Paul if he could give me a better deal than what I was offered the first time, then I would do my business with him. He wasn't able to help me much there, but he did what he could.
The place closes at 9 and I didn't get to test drive until 9:30. At this point, I was pretty tired, but I was satisfied with the car they presented to me. Being as late as it was, and I got the car I wanted for a decent price, I accepted the deal. Koushi in finances was quick and effective. Since Paul and I had a previous car dealing history, I told him that it was late and I'll check out the exterior of the car the next day to let him know if there were any damages. I'm glad he still trusts me!
The next day, I found some major scratches on my car, which bothered me because it meant coming back into the dealership, but I love that they will take car of it, no charge. I also had time to look into the Honda Care warranty I bought and finances was nice enough to accept my return of Honda Care and give me something that better suited me (oil changes/filter package).
Paul also stuck his neck out for me to get me an opportunity to look at a Civic with Honda Sensing, even already purchasing the Civic. I had the opportunity to switch the cars, but I didn't know there was a $1,000 difference. The first guy I worked with told me all vehicles came with Honda Sensing which is not true, and he quoted me for it, but I wasn't bothered by it at the end of the day. Still Paul talked to the GM and got me that opportunity. It would've been nice to walk away with it, but I was looking to save money, not spend more.
Overall, I spent about 5 hours here, but they're super busy so I can understand them going back and forth between customers. I just didn't like that I was tossed around so much until I settled with Paul. But even with all the going around, it looked like some numbers fell through the cracks and some information was misleading.
At the end of the day, the salespeople were able to work with me and my budget. They were able to help me more than I expected, which is a plus. They know that I will refer people here and will come back for future transactions.
