| - The ends of my hair has been bothering me for quite some time. It reminds me a lot like spider legs, which creeps me out too! Ugh!!! And I've been wanting bangs that lay right on my cheekbones, but I haven't found a hairstylist that can give me that until today.
Connie's studio room is located inside 24/7 Salon & Day Spa Studio, which is in the same business complex of 24 Hour Fitness on W. Tropicana Ave. I got lost trying to find her in this huge place. Her room is after the reception desk, on your right! If you start seeing the sinks to wash your hair, you've passed it.
She has a cute, little studio room to herself, which I prefer. No distractions and it's only you to work on. I do love the fact that she doesn't double book and takes her time in doing your hair. Even if another client comes early, she lets them know she's with a client right now, they're early, and if they would like any magazines to keep them occupied. She was blow drying my hair at that time and told me.. I'm not done with you yet. I'm going to dry cut your hair after this. AWESOME :) I thought she would be eager like some hairstylists I've gone to, that once another client came in, I wasn't the "client" anymore. And this client that came in early had not one, but three girls with her that wanted to get their hair did by Connie. It didn't even phase her and she continued with working on my hair. It didn't even distract her focus on me, it was about me on my time with her. Lovelovelove that. That is the main reason why I was looking for a new hairstylist in cutting my hair and I'm so happy I found Connie :D
She's very chill, personable, funny, and sweet. The whole time I thought I was chatting it up with an old friend. I showed her several pictures of how I would like to grow out my hair and the bangs I've been wanting to achieve. I told her about my scary spider legs ends of my hair and was in need of a trim. She not only cleaned up my ends, but made my whole hair feel so light and soft. It looked healthy again and I wasn't scared no more in those spider legs!
I'm completely satisfied with the outcome of my haircut. In love with my new bangs. Connie is the only hairstylist that achieved exactly what I wanted from the first try. She worked nonstop in giving me some definition and style to my hair. She even cuts the way I like and takes each section, pulls it up, and cuts my hair to even the strands. Even took the time in dry cutting after blow drying. I can feel she loves what she does and cares about my hair. A true perfectionist at heart making sure every strand got attention. Absolutely love her style.
I'll definitely be back for a trim. I already recommended my friends and coworkers to Connie, since they've been looking for a hairstylist too. Thank you tons for my new do ;)
