| - So I moved from Kent to Willoughby and opened this new account to review my new experiences up here and completely forgot that I reviewed this place last year under an old account. I apparently liked it so much I actually opened a yelp account solely to review it and then promptly forgot I had that account. But since I've been a frequent customer here for over a year now, I wanted to add a couple of things under my new, current account:
First, I still come here about once a month if not more. Now that I live in Willoughby, it is great because instead of driving 30-40 minutes to come get a massage here I only have to drive 20-25! I'm a nurse and my job can be very physically strenuous and stressful. It is incredibly important that I keep myself physically strong and healthy. So I am constantly on the lookout for places to go to help rejuvenate myself. I've tried those online coupon thingies like Living Social or Groupon where you get massages at a super discounted rate. But here's the thing -- they never compare to this place. It's always a waste of money. All the stuff I wrote about Chinese medicine and how it's the bomb... well, it still is.
The pros of this place: it rocks and it works. It isn't even that expensive -- especially compared to other places that offer massage. You can get a 60 minute table massage for $59. And it works BETTER than your average massage place because they use different techniques (i.e. accupressure -- see what I wrote in my earlier review). Another great thing about Comfort Zone -- you can walk right in. I hate making appointments. I love that if I have a rough night at work I can wake up the next day and drive over and get a massage.
The cons: the staff are great, but they don't speak too much English so there is confusion sometimes when people come in and want a massage and say, everyone is already taken so they have to wait. Or they don't realize other people are already waiting. This doesn't happen often, but it has happened. Another con is that every so often you have to wait 5-20 minutes for somebody to be free. (It's worth the wait though!)
One other thing I REALLY wish they would do is have some sort of club or incentive or card or something so if you have so many massages there you get one for free, etc. Something like that.
Regardless of all that, I am and will continue to be a loyal customer to this place. They are like a hidden little gem in Beachwood mall! I almost hesitate to spread the word because I don't want them to be full when I come to get a massage, but they are so incredibly amazing I can't help myself.
