I brought my dogs here for the weekend and when they told us the room was good to go in with them I went in and I literally stepped in dog poop. Then we dropped them off and an hour afterwards I was driving to California and they said we need to pick my big dog up because they were afraid of him and couldn't give him his shots. My dog is such a good boy he wouldn't do anything. We told them to give him a sedative and he would be fine. My aunt called and told them they weren't qualified if they can't even watch and give my dog shots. I picked my two dogs up today and they seemed very scared for some reason. My little dog is fine but my big dog they had a problem with is petrified and lethargic and mean. We called and they said it was from the sedative they gave him but they gave it to him three days prior. He is acting very mean to. I don't know what happened in that vet but my dog is acting different today. So I have come to the conclusion that they sedated him way to much.
UPDATE:
In December we found out my dog has a deadly heart condition from another vet and apparently sedation is bad for dogs hearts so I don't know if this incident had anything to do with my dog getting ill faster or not.
