  • Excellent hike: great views, strenuous but not technical or dangerous (the trail doesn't skirt any drop-offs) although trail sections with loose stone were a pain coming down. On the way down, take a detour (left of the trail) into a small canyon. Mid-April weather was perfect -- not too hot, important because there is almost no shade -- otherwise in the summer, time your hike to avoid going up in mid-day.
