  • Thought people were being overly critical until going today. Heavy 'dead fish' stench at entrance (PS I've visited many aquariums in US). Decided it may be the cloudy, green murky water causing the smell permeating the facility? NEVER seen green cloudy water at ANY aquarium I've been to. Very unfinished. 'Touch pool' for kids but missing 90% of animals. Very minimal educational info near all the exhibits. Penguin exhibit tiny. The animals did seem a bit lethargic. Seemingly developed for pizazz & profit rather than a love and care of sea creatures. Costs more than annual pass to zoo, science center, etc.
