  • New Amsterdam has great food, great drinks and great staff. It gets a bit too crowded for me on weekend nights, but otherwise it's my favorite place to go. The happy hour specials are unbelievable (I especially recommend the pub grub mac and cheese). Initially, it seems like it might be too cool for school, but unlike other places in town, the wait staff is incredibly friendly and not trying too hard to be 'hip.'
