  • Because of poor pace of play, and the always sad early darkness in winter for golf in Las Vegas, I actually experienced the front nine of both courses in one visit. This was also done with the blessing of the starter, who gave us the green light to jump from Lexington to Concord when we knew we'd never finish 18 holes at the turn. Overall, this is a very impressive property in all aspects: Facilities, customer service and attention to detail. Lexington features rye grass and has a touch more mountain influence in the overall course design. Meanwhile, Concord sports bermuda grass and still has plenty of slope and elevation change, especially on the first and last holes of the front nine. There's a lot of fun to be had on these courses, while a good score is not easily achieved on either one of them. Still, an astute eye for golf course design will notice all the little things that went into the property such as the rock walls for elevated tee boxes and even the perfect spacing of rocks in other areas to add a specific look. Despite the pace of play on Lexington, which in this case was nobody's fault except the golfers themselves, I really enjoyed my first visit to Revere and was even more enthused with the half rain check they gave us to come back and play the back nine on a future visit to Las Vegas. Also, this property is a very quick and easy drive on Interstate 15 from the Las Vegas Strip despite looking otherwise on various maps.
