I've visited Tempest on several occasions now, with two out of the three being excellent and one being just okay. My last visit was during Madison's Restaurant week a couple months back, and the three course menu with beers to pair was amazing, especially for the price. Although the service was slow, our waitress made it up for it by supplying our group with another beverage from the beer features that night and extra salad accompaniments. One of the best things I ever ate at a restaurant was the scallop croquette (See picture), which all three of us ordered as an entree. It was served in a large sea shell which was a nice touch. None of us spoke after our first bite diving into this creamy, pillowy, creation until maybe the third bite because it was just that good! We still talk about it...This review was long overdue.
