  • I don't understand people that write "you either love it or hate it" about this coffee shop. There is nothing to hate about this place. The baristas are exceedingly pleasant and the owners seem like nice people. This is the place to go if you want to enjoy an hour or two of solace in your day. I have nothing against corporate coffee shops but I go to this coffee shop because of the cozy atmosphere. Places like gold bar are the reason that corporate coffee shops now provide table space for people to study. Sure it isn't the newest looking and the pastries should be a million times better but who cares. Not everyone has thousands of dollars at hand to buy a brand new building or renovate. People who write 10 paragraph overly critical reviews need to learn to love themselves more. This isn't suppose to be a Michelin Star restaurant. Unique places like this are the best of Arizona.
