As a Scarborough girl at heart, I guess I will always have a soft spot for this place. I don't get down here very much any more because I am carless, but once a year I descend the hill for our work's annual end of the year brunch. And each year I remember why this tucked away beauty is still breathtaking.
This is a great place to go for a walk with a canine friend in order to enjoy the cliffs and the water. The only downside is the goose poo and the fact that it can be very crowded, and not everyone is a dog fan. Still, I love seeing the elaborate picnic set ups so many families have and taking in the smells and sounds of friends and families sharing a meal.
A total must see in the eastend.
