  • On my way to work and I get a nail in my tire. Small annoyance. Normally would fix this myself. But I'm dressed for work so I figure this time I'll just pay someone to plug it for me. so I stop in to see if they can patch real quick. I know what this involves. It's a $5, 30sec fix. First thing they say is they can't patch it because it's in the side wall, it wasn't. Clearly in the tread. Immediately tries selling me new tire for $120. Again bullshit. Before I can decline he immediately then asks if I have a tire hazard coverage to charge the insurance. Total rip off and scam. From the very sec they tried to overcharge/up charge and take me for an idiot. Told them no. Went next door to autozone. Bought the plug and fixed my own tire for $8 and 30 sec of my time.
