Churned is an adorable little ice cream shop. They switch out their flavors daily, from what I gather, and have some very unique ones at that. I absolutely had to try the Maple Bacon with French Toast. While I dug the French Toast flavor, Bacon in my ice cream was just a little too much for me. There were also a few cereal flavored ice creams like Cap'n Crunch and Cocoa Puffs and some unique flavors like PB&J along with sorbet. I settled on Honey ice cream and my friend on the Brown Butter Lavender Brittle. The Honey was perfect. I wanted something not too sweet, as my usual go to is Maple, and for my taste, this rocked.
For about 3 o'clock on Weds, Churned was seeing a myriad of customers while we sat and ate. I was very surprised to see an ice cream shop get so many people on week day and barely into summer. I guess that harkens to Churned's reputation. A stop at Churned will definitely be occurring any time that I am in Cleveland.
