  • This place is a hidden gem when you are in Vegas. When you are in Vegas and ask a dealer, Pit Boss, Taxi driver where they go to eat go food they will tell you Du-Par's. Du-Pars are famous for their $1.99 Shrimp Cocktail which is packed with Shrimp and their Steel Coat Oatmeal with fresh fruit for Bfast, which is simply amazing. We stayed in Vegas over the weekend and had several meals from Bfast, Lunch to Dinner here. Du-Par's has Prime Rim, Hamburgers, Fresh Baked cakes, cookies, to you name it they have it. The day I ordered the steel cut oatmeal I also ordered a Fresh Cinnamon roll warmed for our table and after the first bite it did not last very long. I will say that I ordered hash browns burnt and they were a little too (Shinny aka Greasy for my stomach so I did not eat them). The staff is great, there is never a wait longer than 5-10 minutes to sit and if you are looking to get a quality meal that you will find on the strip inside a restaurant in a casino for 25 times the price this is the place you should be trying. I have been coming here for years and I will continue coming here for years. I dig the placemats on the table that have the history of Downtown Vegas and Du-Pars from 1908 to current day. This place is definitely worth a try.
