| - Beatles LOVE is definitely the most unique show I've seen thus far, as it's more of a broadway production on steroids. I think this is a show meant for more "seasoned" Cirque fans. Most will want to "ooohh and aaahh" watching dangerous acrobatics, and for that, I recommend Mystere or O. For shows with a storyline or serious overtones, then check out KA or Le Reve.
I know certain Beatles songs, at least the most catchy ones, and the show didn't disappoint in playing these songs throughout the show. Whereas other Cirque shows let you focus on one act in the center of the stage, LOVE is a bit of sensory overload. There are dozens of performers everywhere, with different costumes, and different props.
It takes a little getting used to, but having a balcony seat helps. Sitting at the very front row of the balcony section, I felt we had a great overview of everything. I won't give away anything, but there are things "flying" in from everywhere, which was pretty cool. Having a higher vantage point made it easier to focus on things.
Plus, balcony seats were cheaper anyway, if you're on a budget (35% off through their website now). Overall, LOVE has some great music that'll have you tapping your feet or bobbing your head throughout the show. If you're more of a fan of performance arts versus circus arts, definitely check it out.
