Andrew Carnegie set up a fund back in the day for a library, probably out of guilt for abusing his workers to make his billions. The library runs off the interest of the original lump sum. Rumor has it, to this very day, the library still operates only off the interest of the lump sum. Makes you wonder how much that original sum was eh?
I always loved the frosted glass pane floors. I would feel like I was Indiana Jones jumping along the floor before it fell in and I smashed on the librarians below. I also was grateful they would lend books out via mail to our little tiny mining town library so I could read just about whatever I wanted if I was patient for the mail.
