Where to begin... I was recently a patient at this rehab facility. The experience was much less than desirable. The nurses were extremely overworked and they had serious attitudes because of it from the very beginning. CNA's needed more staff as well. It took over 40 minutes to get someone's assistance onto a bed pan.. sheets were dirty, rooms smelled old and musty-almost moldy. The food was hardly edible. And had no nutritional value. I didn't see one piece of fresh food. Everything served was frozen, processed or from a can. If u don't want the tasteless frozen meat patties they heat up and throw on a bun, then you got the option to have grilled cheese instead. I can't believe families pay so much money to make sure their loved ones are being taken care of and they are getting away with feeding this to their patients.
Additionally, the extreme lack of communication between staff and patients was very frustrating... I could go on and on.. just make sure you really do your research before you choose a facility. Just because it's had some remodeling and looks pretty doesn't mean they are the right fit for your loved one.
