The front desk makes the process extremely painful.
First of, they messed up the appointment date. It was supposed to be 3/19 in the morning but they have it written down as 3/26 in the morning.
Then after the doctor's appointment, they send the prescription to a pharmacy that doesn't accept the patient's insurance. Then we asked to change the prescription to be picked up at a different location.
They left a message to say we have to speak with the doctor again to change to a different pharmacy. So we called on 3/20 around 4:00 pm, some front desk picked up and offered to check if the new location is accepting the prescription.
3/21 morning, called again to check if the new location had the prescription ready, they refused to help and claim the changes was not made yet because we keep switching to a new pharmacy (we only switched one time and it is only because the first pharmacy doesn't accept the insurance). They told us to wait for 24-72 hours for switching to a new pharmacy which should only take 5 mins to give a call to the pharmacy. Then they threaten there is nothing else they could help at this moment and hanged up rudely.
It is really not the doctor that makes the appointment experience delightful or not but the front desk but in this case, the two front desks constantly complaining they are short on staff meanwhile joking with each other while other patients waiting in line and also being rude and refuse to help over the phone. Sadly, these two are the only front desk staff they have and you will not have different front desks so your experience will be a guaranteed horrible.
I really urge the management to look into the work attitude of these two front desks and have them fired since the doctors in the facility are still nice and nothing is beyond saving.
At the end of the day, doesn't matter how awesome the doctors are, the front desk and service is always the part that distinguishes a place. Isn't it?
