We were at Camelwest on November 27 2013 for our dog's annual exam, some allergies, and vaccinations. Our 2 yr old black lab Gypsy was a stray found in the desert last year, who later ended up on Maricopa County Animal Control's euthanasia list labeled Behavior-Fear, that we adopted instead. Given her tough beginnings, she was understandably apprehensive and nervous about her exam. The vet tech and Dr. McCready took their time with her to help her relax. We never felt rushed. Being very food motivated, they utilized treats with her to make her comfortable and allow them to perform their exams without incident. By the end of the visit Gypsy even consented to going in the back without me, and allowed them to do a skin scraping around her eye without any problems! Our dogs are our family members, and I wouldn't take them anywhere else!
