  • We stopped at Forefathers for lunch after a hike at South Mountain. This was our first visit, but our friends go there often for father-son lunches. It was great! The place was packed and people were even sitting outside in the rain. If that doesn't tell you how good the food is, I don't know what will. Even though the place was packed the staff was friendly and efficient. The line moved fast! Our Original Phillys were tasty and messy, just the way I believe a Philly should be! The fries were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, perfect! Be sure to try the fry-sauce! Our only negative was the size of the dining area. It was a bit small and crowded today (it was raining, so no sitting outside).
