| - Had the joy of trying this new restaurant today. Their rum menu is huge, and they have cocktail flights and fruity tropical drinks. I tried the Zombie flight and each one was delicious, and deceptively strong. It was $18, but considering each drink of was a solid 1-2 shots and were a perfect blend of subtle fruitiness, I think overall it's a good deal, especially to share. I wasn't a fan of the strawberry daiquiri personally, but they are usually too sweet for me. The food was good, an mix of Cuban, Puerto Rican, Peruvian, Jamaican, etc. I recommend the empanadas ($2 each), especially the chicken and the Jamaican patty. For the entrees, I tried the Ropa Vieja and the fish tacos (2 tacos). Both were solid dishes with fresh ingredients, but semi-pricey as is expected with the area ($23, $15 respectively).
The staff was very attentive and did a great job for being such a new restaurant. Atmosphere was great, liked the reggae music. Also had TVs to watch the pens game. I will definitely return to try more appetizers and cocktails, and the desserts!
