| - My mother and I went to this laundry mat because we figured it would be nice and quiet since it is located in Sun City. Oh boy were we wrong... First thing first, I walked into this place and a good number of machines where not working, but hey there was one other person in there so I didn't mind. I began loading up machines and starting my laundry, one of the washing machines were open when I started loading it up with my clothing, so as i finished putting in my clothes, detergent, and quarters into the machine, I closed the lid and noticed it had a piece of tape on it saying "Out of Order". At that point i went over to the dry cleaning side and let the young man know what had happened, he informed a older gentleman (who i'm sure is his father). Anyway the older man opened the machine and gave me back my money. I switched everything into another machine and pushed in the quarters but for some reason it didn't work. So i let the owner know again... and at this point he came over to me and informed me that he has cameras in the laundry and will be looking at the footage. I was SO offended, like this man basically accused of me committing LAUNDRY FRAUD. I let him know that he can sit and look at the surveillance all he wants, and that i haven't stolen anything or done anything. He than put the money back into my machine and pushed it and the machine worked. I am assuming that he pushed it really hard which made it work, but when i did it I did not jam it like he did. (since i was trying to gentle with the machines because they are not my property... this is how i am with stuff that don't belong to him.
After that I just waited for my laundry to finish and i met his wife and began to explain to her what had happened and how rude her husband was, to accuse me of doing something illegal without even knowing anything about.
She had informed me that they were robbed a couple days ago and he was on edge, but still that is not a valid excuse in my opinion to be bias against anyone.
His wife does seem to be a very nice lady, she unlike him, was very polite and courteous. Until you have caught someone in the action they are truly innocent, and I was VERY offended by that. Earlier when my mother and I walked into the laundromat my mother found a check that was addressed to the owner and brought it right away to him.
So for this man to make the assumption that I am some kind of thief was APPALLING.
I will not be returning to this establishment and will be taking my laundry elsewhere.
His machines where over priced as well as his plastic garbage bags... 75 cents for one garbage bag...... FRIGGING RIDICULOUS
OH and yes the bathroom is disgusting, it smells like urine and the door doesn't close.
