  • I lived in Stonewood once before and it was awful, only reason I moved back was because I was told it had new management that was great. That couldn't be more completely wrong, I discovered mold in both bedroom closets, ( this was due to a Crack in the foundation allowing cold air in to my heated apartment) management tried to tell me it was mildew even though i myself work as a maintenance technician for multiple apartment communities and I know what mold is. Well it took almost 10 days for them to remedy the solution. And don't bother making a noise complaint they will not do anything, multiple times my wife and I have been woken up to the neighbors above us having sex, they blast their TV so loud and slam their toilet seat too, but when I complained the office said they received a complaint on me even though my wife and I are super quiet. Why wouldnt they tell us about a noise complaint right away instead of only telling me when i came to the office l? I would like to also point out that the grounds are not well maintained, there is dog poop everywhere, and the maintenance crew drive their golf cart through the grass tearing it up and tracking mud everywhere. Their amenities are a joke too, the tennis court is unusable and the playground is old and full of trash. The pool is nice, but it's pretty small and usually crowded.
