First time in Montreal and this place was on my list of food hotspots to check out, based on online reviews. We stopped in on Friday afternoon for some hot chocolate. Service was friendly and attentive - we were brought menus in French, which we don't speak fluently, but the descriptions were enticing enough that we didn't require English. "Vanille" tends to translate just fine.
My companion ordered a Madagascar single origin hot chocolate, while I opted for a simpler milk chocolate. Both were delivered with pistachio brownies on the side, and in an elegant glass mug.
Holy wow, delicious.
The flavors are just so pure and sweet without being overpowering. Definitely rich, and worth sipping and not gulping. Reasonably priced for the quality.
Atmosphere was pleasant and bright, a few kids with parents and single people, some couples. Appeared to be a healthy mix of tourists, students and families.
