  • I'm a big fan of VBGB--I don't give out 5 stars unless I mean it. Here are some reasons it's worth checking out: -The space is HUGE, they have an indoor bar with plenty of seating and a giant patio. The patio space is split, half is covered with a giant canvas tent and half is open. No matter what the weather, you can find the perfect place to hang out. You can reserve space for parties as well. -There are so many things to do! VBGB has multiple full sized beach volley ball courts (very popular in Charlotte), on the patio they have giant chess, giant connect four and giant jenga. They also have ping pong tables and corn hole...there is always something to do. -Event nights. Check out their social media/website to see what they have scheduled for the week. Life music nights and trivia nights are very popular. -THE FOOD! The food is super good. Get a pretzel, the totchos, latkes or any of the other items off the menu...you won't be sorry. Bonus! It's priced well. -The options for drinks. This is a bier garten--so the list of beer available is giant. Take a second to really go over what they have on tap before going to your regular brew. You can sample everything, and you can purchase all beer in a pitcher for sharing. In addition to the beer, there is a full bar for the non-beer drinkers. Parking across the street is easy to get to and it's free!
