  • Good for kids and young adults but better for older adults. Young ones should hike Grand Canyon. For some photos and a complete experience of this trip, read on : http://locomotoring.net/2009/02/19/soaring-above-grand-canyon/ Spent most of the time waiting. But the time in air was spectacular. From Vegas to Canyon, it is about 1 hr flight each way. The helicopter trip lasts about 20 minutes. The whole trip us 4 a.m. to noon, so about eight hours. See what I mean.
