  • First time using Uber. I drove to LV in my own car, but did not want to drive around the city in it. Downloaded the app. Looked online and got a coupon for a $22.00 credit for my first ride. Used Uber from the Excalibur, which has a designated Uber & Lyft drop-off and pick-up point, to Freemont St. From hotel to Freemont driver was at pick-up point within 15 minutes. Very friendly lady, offered me water and a snack. She said it was her 3rd week. Nice clean car. Ride was free with the coupon. The trip back to my hotel, not so smooth. Ordered Uber from the Plaza Hotel round about. After about 20 minutes the driver called me and asked where I was at. Told the driver I am at the entrance of the Plaza. The driver said that Uber or Google put my location a block away. Driver finally showed. Very nice gentleman, he said it was his 3rd day. Clean car. I showed him where the Uber location at the Excalibur was. Trip cost me 1/2 of what a taxi would cost. I tipped both drivers. I would use again.
